Barcode4j - how to customize human readable text?

Dear All,

I'm using Barcode4j's generate method in XSLT to generate barcodes on customer receipts (PDF format). There is a requirement to customize the human readable text displayed just below the barcode image. The text needs to be enclosed within "*" and should have some letter spacing specified in mm. Can somebody please guide how to achieve this or even better demonstrate with the sample code?

I was also looking at a workaround if somehow we can suppress the text altogether and add the custom text in its place? I've again no clue how to suppress the displayed text. (found some HRP_NONE field of HumanReadableElement which can do that but really not sure how to use this in XSLT) Any ideas in this regard are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
