capturing sequence of images from a webcam

hi Guys,
I'm trying to capture sequence of images from a webcam(i.e a streaming video source) at some predefined frame rate. I've been able to capture a single image using the JMF API but not yet able to capture frames for the streaming videos.
Could you show me some ideas of implementing it or maybe refer me to some example codes. Thanks.
