Hi friends

I want to print some forms using java.

The form is like one to print header and details.Header contains four rectancle boxes and below header some lines to print DETAILS.

i want to take data from sql table. This part is familier one for me and i can do that.

But for drawing rectancle and put some lable and text boxes inside the rectanngle and print that form ...I am not familier with graphics and priting.

Please anybody help me to get an idea of what are the things i have to use to do this

Can i use applet for drawing rectandcle etc if so how can i print it using printer?

Or graphics without applet?

or else?

The Java Print Service is the API you use to interact with printers. Have a read through that link, it should get you started.
