Though there're a lot of books to learn java only the best stands out.as my experience conveys ,the book 'The java2 complete reference' by patric naughton, herbert schildt from tata mcgraw hill publishing is the best ever book.It contains every topic clearly explained,up-to-the point, not a chit chat type of book and has very good examples. The books 'core java2' volumes I,II 'd also serves as better learning guides. They 've very good info that an every java programmer should know and if u've these three books u'r life 'll be in heaven.

I'm moving this thread to "Java in General (beginner)"
