I'm working on a shopping cart with an applet over the internet, and would like to know if its possible to line up decimal points ...I know of a funtion in C. And is there a way to trim numbers (or strings) to the right side of a textfield? Look forward for the help!!

take a look at a DecimalFormat class located in java.text package
