IRC Channels for Java

Does anyone know of a good IRC channel to discuss Java Issues and problems. Oh, and how to get there. I am still new to IRC

You can try undernet.
And how to get there? You mean join a channel? type in:
/join #roomname

You can try dalnet. But since ive been k-lined from there for a while, im not sure if they have any java channels or not.

I tried suggesting that javaranch get one going, but that idea didnt fly very well. Im on irc 24/7 so if we get enough interest we can get a channel up and runnin.

Thanks. I try to get onto DalNet and Undernet, but I can never get logged in. I have mIRC. There is a #java in one of the worlds, but I haven't found good advise there yet. More happening there in private chats than in the actual channel. So it is tough to find someone who is knowledgable.
I think we should have a channel. I like IRC better than newsgroups because of the instant response you get in a chat. I hate having to wait for someone to respond, and having to keep checking back. Also I find that it is tougher to communicate in a newsgroup. I don't understand why, since I can type this large post.
