Here is a simple question that probably (and hopefully) should generate some discussion: Which Java development tool/IDE is the best? That is what reasons are there for using one or the other, I mean there are a few: Visual Caff�, J++, J builder, etc. Give me your views, and reasons /Mike

If u want to create easily a pretty GUI, FORTE(tm) for java is useful. u draw ur GUI then select the events ur components need and a great part of the code is generated automatically. and above all it's free on the sun java site.

Actually we have a WHOLE forum dedicated to this conversation call "IDE's and other Tools".
