how class file is converted into .exe file in details plz.

hi,

it's converted using a native code compiler (i think).
this would result in os depended code.
you can do a executable jar archive. the jar runs your app automaticly if extensions are properly assigned (jre installed) on the computer. this is a jar archive with a special entry in the manifest file. sorry but i dont know the exact syntax by heart.... but try search the javaranch, there are examples.

If you just want to START a java application, the easiest way is to create a .bat file that contains the commands just like you would type them at the command prompt.
