Hello
I installed on my computer JDK 1.3. AS I understand JDK 1.3 is virtual machine and the compiler. I wrote a program on Java than saved as file.java(with java extension). How can I run the program and to see the output? Where is the run button? Therefore JDK 1.3 is virtual machine and compiler but I don't see the compiler!!!
Thanks

I take it you are running under Window$...
Open up Windows Explorer and search for java.exe (the JVM) and javac.exe (the Java compiler). You would run these from the DOS command line.
I suggest you go through the Java Tutorial - Your First Cup of Java(win32) lesson to learn more on how to set up your environment and get started with Java.
