Converting into Arrays

Could anybody suggest me how to transfer the following code into arrays so that it performs the same result as now.

Well I am not sure if this is what you want but you could play with this:

        final int size = Integer.parseInt(args[0]) ;
        int[][] table = new int[size][size] ;
  
        for ( int i = 1 ; i <= size ; i++ )
        {
            for ( int j = 1 ; j <= size ; j++ ) 
            {
                int z = i * j;
                table[i-1][j-1] = z ;
                if ( z < 10 )  System.out.print( " " ) ;
                if ( z < 100 ) System.out.print( " " ) ;
                System.out.print( " " + table[i-1][j-1] ) ;
            }
            System.out.println() ;
        }
    }
}

This really helped and solved the question.
Further there is also one thing to add in the above program. Could anybody further describe the following lines more clearly:
The output of the above table should be 13 columns. The first line of output will be the column headings, the first column with no heading then the numbers 1 to 12 for the remaining columns. The first item in each of the succeeding lines of the row heading which ranges from 1 to 12.
