Poonraj , Welcome to javaranch.
PROPER NAMES ARE NOW REQUIRED
Please look carefully at official naming policy at javaranch & reregister yourself with proper first & last name. Please adhere to official naming policy & help maintain the decorum of the forum.
Waiting for your posts with proper first & last name. Once you have reregister , please let us know about that & then your previous account will be disabled.
Also , i feel This is not the right forum. You should post it in " Threads & synchronization " or " Java in General Forum ".
Regards.

Ponraj,
I see your point but the policy is clear, you NEED some sort of a last name if you are going to participate here. Ponraj Siva would be fine and still follow the policy. Feel free to look through the JavaRanch forum discussions for all the reasons why this policy is in effect.
Now about JNI. I don't have any experience in it, but JGuru maintains a FAQ about it
http://www.jguru.com/faq/home.jsp?topic=JNI
and there is a downloadable tutorial on DevConnection (you need to register - but it's a good site)

Ponraj, I'd like you to understand that we are not saying that you have not given us your real name. In fact you have given us your real First Name, however, when you registered you agreed to a policy which stated that you must register with a username that consists of both a first and last name!
Cindy's Suggesstion would be fine or you could even use your whole name "Ponraj Sivasubramaniam" is perfectly acceptable also.
This policy is important to us, having everyone comply seems to make this place a much more professional place to be.
I hope you'll take this advice and register again with a new name which complies with the rules and I hope to see you here more in the future!
