Strange. I downloaded the java mail API, installed it and the proper jars on a unix box, and am trying to run some of the demos. the demo java files all compiled correctly, but when I try to run them I get the
exception in thread main NoClassDefFound error.
So I even made a hello world program...
import java.io.*;
public class Test {
public static void main(String[] args){
System.out.println("hello");
}
}

... and still get the same results. Any ideas why??
thanks
