Hello
I wrote the code that draw an Applet put button and textfield that allows to user enter Complex Number. The Aplet opens but the button and textfield don't work at all.

Mike, you have been around here for a while now. Can't you PLEASE put [ code][ /code] tags (without the spaces) around your code so that it is READABLE?

Mike you might want to use an anonymous action listener for the button and just call a method within your class. You are trying to do more in the listener than you should. You might try making your button and textfields instance variables and see what that does. I can't get your code to compile.
