Dear friends,
I have made an appllication software.but the problem is how to create an executable file for running any application software in Java.

Hi Jyotsna,
You can't actually create an exe file for it. Usually what is done is to include a bat file that the user can run. It might look like:
java yourApplication

create an executable jar file
follow these steps
1)create a manifest file
type followin text in it
Jar-Version: 1.0
Main-Class: YourMainClassWithoutExtension
Class-path: lib.jar //this is optional need only if u need
//u have some class in another jar
after typing above text dont forget to hit enter key at
least once
2)save the file as manifest.mf or whatever u like
3)now type following command
jar -cmf manifest.mf YourJar.jar *.class
now u can run jar file by double clicking it
