Have this menu that was taken from the Netscape free Java area...however I have a problem
The code for linking to a URL location will not see paths. EG
myMenu51.addMenuItem("Overview2", "location='using_super\SBSupervisor_01_Overview_web.htm'");
will only produce a url of
using_superSBSupervisor_01_Overview_web,htm
Losing the \ . So after reading a book I discovered that you may need to \\ to produce a backslash this still did not work the character is just missing
Any of you guy have any suggestions?

Well. I have not a clue what method that you are trying to use, but the syntax that you are showing works for me. The backslash requires an escape character (so it should be typed \\).
Try

Oh yes, and CoW,
Please change your name to be compliant with JavaRanch's naming policy.
Your ID should be 2 separate names with more than 1 letter each. We really want this to be a professional forum and would prefer that you use your REAL name.
Thanks,
Cindy
