So after reading a book I discovered that you may need to \\ to produce a backslash this still did not work the character is just missing Any of you guy have any suggestions?
Well. I have not a clue what method that you are trying to use, but the syntax that you are showing works for me. The backslash requires an escape character (so it should be typed \\). Try
