I want to know how to access a C++ DLL from Java?.

You have to use JNI. Check out the JNI on the Sun site.

wrap the dll in a C++ program and then make JNI calls to it from java.
You could also check out jintegra http://www.linar.com
Jintegra writes the JNI code for you.
