Does anybody know of any resources (preferably online) that compare Recursion and Iteration with examples in Java.
Thanks,

There are a number of Java related sites about. You can try here:
http://javaskyline.com/
or any other links found on the JavaRanch Java Links page.
Otherwise, I'd recommend asking and answering questions here in the forums to learn more about recursion and iteration.

Hello,
With regards to recursion, Chapter 11 of David J. Eck's Tutorial covers this topic.
Good Luck.

I ran across a series of articles on NetworkWorldFusion by Jeffrey R. Shapiro that cover the very topic of comparing and contrasting recursion and iteration in Java. The relevant five articles are at the bottom of the page (Sep 26, 2001 to Oct 10, 2001).
Good Luck.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
