I am having trouble figuring out what InconpatibleClassChangeError means. I am getting the error at line 170 in the code below. I can show more code, but I would rather a more in depth example of why this error occurs. The jvadocs are too concise.

To be more clear, I broke the code out. The IncompatibleClassChangeError is occuring at line 171.

From the API:
"Thrown when an incompatible class change has occurred to some class definition. The definition of some class, on which the currently executing method depends, has since changed."
Could the class file of whatever class the p variable is have been changed since you compiled your code? Or have some of your APIs or something maybe been changed without your knowing aboout it?
If that doesn't help can you show a little more code?
