OK becomes 2 squares under Chinese windows!

The Java GUI application runs pretty well. The OK buttons shows "OK" nicely under English windows, when I run it in my lab. But when I come home and run it on my Windows 2000 Professional, for which I have set Chinese language as the default language, then "OK" becomes 2 squares! How do I handle this, so
that the OK button shows "OK" under Chinese windows?
