I got this error when i tried to run a simple java program.
"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:"
I am using windows 2000.

Sounds like a classpath issue. A nice feature here at JavaRanch is the ability to search past conversations for lots of valuable information.
