HI everybody!!!

I've read your posted message on the following error installing java 1.3.1.
"Error occurred during initialization of vm java/lang/NoclassdefFoundError:java/lang/object" and tried everything you mentionned and still haven't had success.
I'm compiling with textpad and my OS is 2000 server.I've set the path and fixed the classpath as well but this thing still s..... pls help me i'm going nuts over this problem.

Are you refering to another post you made that was answered? Or are you refering to another post from someone else? Can you post a link to the thread you're referring to?
Lets start with the basics and then go from there:
what have you downloaded from Sun and how (and where) have you installed it?

Also, what does your path setting look like? What does your classpath setting look like? Where are these two settings specified?
