Hello,
I just downloaded the Developer Kit 1.1.8 from SUNs Web Site and wonder how and for what I can use it. I thought it might be an texteditor ...
But then I compared the jdk1.1.8/bin to jdk1.3\bin and figured out that both contain some similar files as javac.exe.
So what more can the developer kit do what I cant do with my SunJava2SDKv1.4?
Thanks for your answers.
Thomas.

1.1.8 is the old version of 1.3 and 1.4
Forget about it unless you're forced to use it for some reason. The higher versions have more/better stuff.
