JTextField and JSlider

I need some help....
I am trying to set up my program where the user can enter a value in the JTextField to set the value of the JSlider.
Any help would be appreciated.

Try something along the lines of:

Integer theInt = new Integer(textField.getText());
theSlider.setValue(theInt.intValue());
