1 of 10 times my java pgm simply ends without a hint of anything going wrong. I sprinkled printlns trhoughout and it's totally random where it may stop. The only consistent thing is that it does this annoying stopping only at startup. No exceptions are being thrown. No trace entries. How am I ever going to figure out what's wrong?
Environment is jdk1.3.1 + Windows 2000

Welcome to JavaRanch!
Does this only occur with one particular Java program? Does it occur on different machines? If it's not too terribly long, you could post the code (being certain to surround it with the
and
UBB Tags) and somebody else might notice a problem?

Oh, and please change your display name to comply with The JavaRanch Naming Policy.
Thank You

Ok, name changed. It's too terribly long to post, but I'll try to duplicate this with a shortned version & post if I can get it to fail. It ends as if I did a System.exit(0); I will try to port to another PC and give feedback.
One time and one time only I did get this traceback which means nothing to me since it doesn't reference any of my sourcecode:
