Checking Apache web server existence using java program

Hi all,
I'm developing on installation software for our product using java. When installing my software i need to check whether java,javac,Apache web server and apache jserv existing or not. Java and javac we can easily check but problem i'm getting at apache web server. How to check whether apache web server and jserv existing in system or not??
Pls. Help me in this regard. Thank you.

You posted the same question in two other forums which is not good, because people can waste their time answering a question that was perhaps already answered.
