Socks, shoes and sundry

Okay, I almost invairably put my right shoe on first. Slightly less consistent is my sock preference, and interestingly it's my LEFT sock that tends to go on first.
Right shoe off first, very consistent, left sock off first, less consistent. Neither as consistent as the corresponding "on" numbers.
Numbers:
Right shoe on first, 95%+. Left sock on first, 85-90%. Right shoe off first, 90%+. Left sock off first, 75%.

These are all amazing observations. What about gloves? And what about left-handed people, are they also left-footed? In other word, are there two possible combinations, or four?

Rightist oppressor!
After deep soul-searching on this issue, I have determined that this choice seems to be governed primarily by which sandal I find first. And yes, "sandal" implies that socks are irrelevant.
Oh, when I am forced to wear shoes, I suppose that the one on the left comes first more often than not. But precise statistics are unavailable, and will probably remain so.

Not quite.
A large leftist minority insists on wearing grey wool socks inside opentoed sandals, usually knit from goathair wool.

Not necessarily: I am right-handed and left-footed

JY:"sandal" implies that socks are irrelevant

It also implies chinos and footloose.
Though why it matters which one goes on first is beyond me.
Perhaps someone could supply the relevant demographics and we might begin to understand why.

You had better mention that to all the little old men in black socks and sandals waving their metal detectors around the beach.
