Maulin, problem with file write

Hey Maulin. That info you gave me before worked great. It's amazing that my code was so close, but it didn't work. Well you know what they say, its not the elephants that kill you...its the ants.
Anyway, same program, same code from before, now I just want to write out the students names. I thought I could tackle this one by myself(who knows maybe I will) The student names are to be written out to a filename. I used studentout.dat Here is my code. Im not including my main method, because it just calls these methods.

Im unclear about this scan loop. Who knows, maybe Im close.

Never mind...I told you I would figure it out.
Stupid mistake anyway.
