This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Let's make a Beginner's FAQ. Some time ago, I solicited folks for ideas on what information a Beginner's FAQ should contain. Well, I'm inviting ya'll into my home, where I've a wiki running at http://dirkschreckmann.dyndns.org:4000/JavaRanchFriki that I hope we can use to develop a good FAQ. Go easy on 'er. This wiki is running on my ol' home machine. Someday, it'll hopefully be moved to a more permanent spot on a JavaRanch server. In the mean time, let's see what our collective efforts might create. Edit the page where you want the link to include a WordsMashedTogether. These words will be the title of the page you'd like to create. After creating a new page link and the new page doesn't exist yet, a question mark will appear after the WordsMashedTogether. Click on the question mark to edit/create the page for the first time. Take a look at PageFormatting for other details of what you can do on a page. [ May 07, 2003: Message edited by: Dirk Schreckmann ]

That was too easy. Now I can play around. Thanks Dirk.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
