Let's make a Beginner's FAQ.
Some time ago, I solicited folks for ideas on what information a Beginner's FAQ should contain.
Well, I'm inviting ya'll into my home, where I've a wiki running at
http://dirkschreckmann.dyndns.org:4000/JavaRanchFriki
that I hope we can use to develop a good FAQ.
Go easy on 'er. This wiki is running on my ol' home machine. Someday, it'll hopefully be moved to a more permanent spot on a JavaRanch server. In the mean time, let's see what our collective efforts might create.

Looks great Dirk.
My first question: How do I create a new page and link to it from the JavaRanch start page?

Edit the page where you want the link to include a WordsMashedTogether. These words will be the title of the page you'd like to create.
After creating a new page link and the new page doesn't exist yet, a question mark will appear after the WordsMashedTogether. Click on the question mark to edit/create the page for the first time.
Take a look at PageFormatting for other details of what you can do on a page.
