Hi I am getting a no class found error whenever I
try to execute my java programs after they compile
correctly. Does anyone have any advice on how
to fix the problem. Thanks in advance

It sounds to me like the class file is not on your classpath.
You will need to set your classpath either by setting a system property CLASSPATH or by using the -cp option with java. Either will need to point to the directory containing the compiled class files. This directory would be the root of where you compiled the files if you are using packages.
