hi everyone,
I am a beginner in Java prog. Please let me know what do the term "Reflection" in Java mean. is it with reference to overloading or overridding concept or what exactly?

Refelection APIs in java can be used to detemine what class the object belogs to,to find out the methods,variables in a class or an interface etc.Many of the IDEs(like JBuilder,Visual Age for Java) use this reflection technique.Hope this helps you.To know more about reflection
