Hi,
I really don't know in which category to this post, so I thoght this could be the best one.
I have windows xp, java 1.4.1. before i had some java programs in a jar file and use to work when I double-click on it, but no any more, for some reason windows doesn't know wich program to use to run it and ask me to choose one, but I been trying without success, how can I configure again.
thanks

You need to open this file with javaw. This is found in your jdk's /bin directory. In xp, you can click control panel, folder options, then click the file types tab to edit the default program for an extension.

On my system, the specific action is
"G:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "%1" %*
I assume this is the value established by the J2SDK 1.4.2 installation routine.
