Hi, I really don't know in which category to this post, so I thoght this could be the best one. I have windows xp, java 1.4.1. before i had some java programs in a jar file and use to work when I double-click on it, but no any more, for some reason windows doesn't know wich program to use to run it and ask me to choose one, but I been trying without success, how can I configure again. thanks
You need to open this file with javaw. This is found in your jdk's /bin directory. In xp, you can click control panel, folder options, then click the file types tab to edit the default program for an extension.
