class Outer
{
private int size;
private String thoughts = "My private thoughts";
void doStuff()
{
System.out.println(thoughts);
}
}

Is doStuff() a method?

Hi Robert,
Welcome to JavaRanch!
Yes, doStuff is a method, while size and thoughts are member variables.
