not equal too & or operator????

A quick one, what the symbol for not equal too e.g.
choose is a input dialog.
also is "or" the correct command I heard it was || or && not to sure..

use || for or
use && for and

Joe, i am not trying to be rude here, but you must first know at least the basics of JPL before you start coding. Try SUN's tutorial here it is pretty simple and easy.

I think this will give better results:

If you use ORs, the expression will always evaluate to true. Alternately you could use:

The two are logically equivalent.
