Error- wot am i doing wrong?

I have the follwoing error in my code and I can't understand why. The piece of code to which it refers is
private Vector euclidean(ResultSetMetaData rsmd){
The error is:
ErrorSyntax error on token "(", ";" expected

I'd guess that above this line of code, you're missing a semicolon.
If you're not able to resolve the issue, then you could always post a more complete code example, and I'm sure other JavaRanchers will be able to assist you.

A small piece of advice, Naf. Whenever you get a syntax error on a line of code, don't assume that that line of code has a problem. The line before it may have the error.
