I'm trying to change my vertical scrollbars so that you have to click the top arrrow for the value to increase rather the the down arrow. I tried VERTICAL/2 and got a horizontal bar!!! (Think Java was being a wise guy =P)

If you are using a
then the simplest solution would seem to be reversing the minimum and maximum values of the scroll bar's range.
BoundedRangeModel model= new JScrollBar().getModel(); int min = model.getMinimum(); int max = model.getMaximum(); model.setMaximum(min); model.setMinimum(max);
