Is resultset serializable

If you look at the Java API documentation for java.sql.ResultSet, you will see that it does not implement java.lang.Serializable, and is therefore not serializable.

I had retrieved the value in a resultset, which cannot be serialized but if i need to serialize the resultset value then in that case should i had to fetch each individual value and then serialize

Fetch the records and then store them in a Vector Object. You can serialize the Vector Object. Because it is serializable.
