does anybody know of a simple class to make text inputs easyer?

Can you be a little more specific? What do you mean by text inputs? Reading a text file? Getting user input? Tell us more about the problem and we can probably help you find a solution. Not to mention possibly a better forum for this question as it might be about IO.
