Data retrieved from databse is sometimes upper case or mixed case. When I display the data on page I would like to know if I can change the case based on my requirements? I am using jsp to display page.

Case manipulation is a simple matter of using the appropriate methods on the String class.

Take a look at the String class documentation. Perhaps one of the methods described in that document you'd find useful.
