How can we download a new package or API like javax.mail

Where should I store .

Please help .

If I understand correctly you are asking where to download javax.mail from? The package itself can be found java.sun.com - just search for it. Once you download it, put the jars in your classpath, and then you should have access to it.

the JavaMail spec is now incorporated in the J2EE API. Old versions may still be available separately but be sure to get the dependencies as well (JAF I think is required).
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
