Can u please tell me whats the difference between

JVM and JRE...(and what are their contents)

Also i have read that there are 2 versions of a JVM -client & server.

is the javahotspotVM correspond to the JVM?

I think Jeroen is trying to tell you that this question has been asked before. The link he gave goes to the search tool. Enter something like "jvm jre" as the keywords for your search and you should find plenty of information to answer your question.
