hi all,

could any one propose a good online tutorial or online book dealing with concepts of OO Analysis and design (independent of language).

btw, could you please let me know differece between OO Analysis and OODesign phases..

where are actually class diagrams drawn, analysis or design phase?

thank you

Analysis is what you do to understand the requirements, design what you do to shape to solution to the identified problem.

Both activities can (sometimes) benefit from drawing class diagrams (though I, personally, use them more for design) - and they are better *not*, I repeat, *not* done in phases, but concurrently (*together* with implementation and testing).

I'm surprised your name hasn't drawn fire from the sherrifs yet

Scroll on down the page to the OO, UML etc forum for lots of conversations about stuff like this.

Welcome to JavaRanch! I see you've been here a while, but it strikes me that no one has pointed out that your display name is in violation of our naming policy. (We are looking for names that are not obviously fictitious, and preferably your real name!). You can change your display name here
