hello all group members
sir i want to know that
1.what is precision?and wht is meant by single and double precision?
2.why is classfile created when we compile java source file and wht is it use and is java virtual machine use it for interpret
plz sir this is urgent?

pi is 3.14159 or pi is 3.14

The first statement is correct to 6 significant figures.
The second statement is correct to 3 significant figures.
This is precision.

Single precision Java variables are correct to about 7 significant figures.

The class files have your Java source program translated by the javac compiler into bytecode and detailed information about your classes. The jvm uses the class files to execute your program on the target machine.
