Hi can u help me to find any good e-book and pdf for very basic stuff to java....?

Actaully I want to know the rules and restrication of the compiler of java that how it behaves...? I mean what are the rules to write a simple java program...?

The tutorial on the sun site is a good place to start. Also a google search for "java tutorial" will give more results than you know what to do with.
