Hello Authors, Sheriffs & Pros

Can you throw some light on why Java does not have more date functions like DateDiff etc etc except a few in Calendar class.

I can't answer why that is so (priorities?), but others here have recommended the Joda Time which looks to have a pretty thorough and straight-forward API.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
