Confusion in JRE, JVM and JDK

I want to the basic difference between JRE & JVM. If the question seems to be funny or wrong, just explain what is JRE, JDK, JVM and how are they related.

If I am installing JDK, the JRE will automatically be installed or we have to install the JRE separately?
