Hi,

I am one of the member in this group learning Java. I have great confusion in File I/O Concepts. BufferReader, BufferWriter, Stream everything is new to me and confusing. I want to learn this from ground up not only for exam point of view but also for understanding the concepts well.

Please suggest some links/books for understanding these concepts from ground up with some good examples.

Hope somebody will help.

Thanks in advance,
Ahmed

Welcome to the "confused about IO" club! Thinking In Java (free online) was my first Java book and as I recall it got me over the IO hump.

A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi
