Java Head First Client Server Example

I posted below link to the Socket and Internet forum, but have not had any luck getting a response. Perhaps, my question is too basic that it should be posted here instead. It relates to sockets but could be classified as a beginner's question because this was borne out of reading the Hhead First Java book, which is specifically geared for beginners.

Maybe those people who post to the Socket and Internet forums are already "pros" and my question probably don't qualify there. I guess, there is a fine line here.

Anyway, out of desperation, I will provide the link to it. Hence, I apologize in advance if I am breaking any rules here. I love this forum!

I hope someone here could help me out.

All the best to those who lend a hand.
