Hey,
Can someone brief me what are the advantages of Interfaces other than achieving Multiple Inheritance. I mean the methods in the Interfaces are just declared but not defined. To use them anyways we are defining them in our own class so what is the need of the INTERFACE concept. This looks silly. But, please take some time to answer.

Rather than repeat oft-cited information here, I recommend you read the following informative interview with Erich Gamma, one of the "Gang of Four" and author of one of the most influential books on object-oriented design:

Program to an interface, not an implementation

Hope this helps.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
