is there documentation for error messages?

OK, I'm just starting out and the forum already helped me but then, of course, i encountered another error and i can't write the forum every 10 minutes. I have the Head First Java book and it does not show error messages. I looked in the documentation on java.sun.com and i didn't see error messages there either.

So... is there a list of Java 5 error messages and their solutions and if yes, where is it?
