Hi, just wondering if anyone could expand on the 'program to an interface' principle.

From what i've read it's about controlling dependencies....umm and perhaps a way to do this is to use interfaces??

sorry couldn't find much out there.

Hi Nerd Gerl, is your name really "Nerd Gerl"? Did you read the JavaRanch official policy on registered names?

See The FAQ, too. Probably a friendlier place to start.

A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi
